On February 4th and 5th, MD.net partners gathered in Seville to attend their regular meeting to discuss further implementation of the Interreg MED supported project. According to the agenda, the discussion firstly concerned management and administrative issues and later focused on the future activities to be carried out within the project.
During the meeting, the project’s partners illustrated their Regional Communication Plans and agreed on reinforcing collaboration in order to comply with the MD.net Communication Strategy.
The meeting’s main focus also involved this year’s activities and commitments regarding: Work Package 4 – Testing and Validating the project’s previous achievements and Work Package 5 – Transferring knowledge to local stakeholders and public opinion. In this field, partners were able to share their ideas on how to promote Mediterranean values at regional level and create a Mediterranean Diet Community between public institutions, private entrepreneurs and individuals.
On the second day, partners participated in a Study Visit through the streets of Seville. The itinerary included hidden sites of the city still preserving Mediterranean history and traditions, and local businesses that embrace Mediterranean culture. The gathering ended with the tasting of local food and products aligned with Mediterranean Diet and Lifestyle and gave partners the opportunity to really enjoy MD.net core values
