250 g Saint John macaroni or mafalda corta pasta
300 g sugar
1 l milk
the peels of two lemons
3 cinnamon sticks
cinnamon powder
water

Cook the pasta, but not completely. Strain.

In a pot, heat the milk with the lemon peel, cinnamon sticks and sugar. After about 10 minutes, add the pasta and let it boil completely.

When the pasta is done, place it in a container to cool. Remove the cinnamon sticks and lemon peel.

Serve cold, sprinkled with cinnamon powder.
