{"id":1957,"date":"2016-07-10T12:23:19","date_gmt":"2016-07-10T12:23:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dietamediterranea.com\/en\/?post_type=cp_recipe&#038;p=1957"},"modified":"2017-12-12T02:33:41","modified_gmt":"2017-12-12T02:33:41","slug":"marinated-chicken","status":"publish","type":"cp_recipe","link":"https:\/\/dietamediterranea.com\/en\/recipes\/marinated-chicken\/","title":{"rendered":"Marinated Chicken"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>serves 4-5<\/p>\n<p>1  chicken (800g-1.2kg), cut into quarters<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1 tbsp olive oil<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t2  garlic cloves<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1  lemon, unpeeled and sliced<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1  orange, unpeeled and sliced<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t  salt<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t12  peppercorns<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1  bay leaf<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1\/4 cup mild vinegar<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1 dash dry white wine\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Slowly fry the pieces of chicken in the olive oil until Golden. Add all other ingredients, cover the pan and simmer until the chicken is tender, about half an hour. Refrigerate and serve cold.<br \/>\nThe juices form a delicious and consistent jelly. The chicken can be served with the jelly molded if desired, in whole or diced boneless pieces. To prepare the mold, pour the liquid into a small saucepan, add 1 cup of cold water and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon (1 envelop) of unflavored gelatin over the liquid. Heat slowly until the gelatin is dissolved. Let cool, then mix with chicken and orange and lemon slices, put into a mold.
