{"id":1063,"date":"2016-01-04T02:30:45","date_gmt":"2016-01-04T02:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dietamediterranea.com\/en\/?post_type=cp_recipe&#038;p=1063"},"modified":"2017-12-11T09:32:29","modified_gmt":"2017-12-11T09:32:29","slug":"macaroni-with-meat-and-vegetables","status":"publish","type":"cp_recipe","link":"https:\/\/dietamediterranea.com\/en\/recipes\/macaroni-with-meat-and-vegetables\/","title":{"rendered":"Macaroni with meat and vegetables"},"content":{"rendered":"<\/p>\n<p>4 people<\/p>\n<p>600 g boneless leg of lamb<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t350 g macaroni<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1  medium onion<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1  carrot<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1  turnip<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1  zucchini<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t300 g thistles<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t3 tbsp tomato sauce<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1 liter water<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1\/2 tsp paprika<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1\/2 tsp cumin<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t1 tbsp olive oil<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t  pepper<br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t  salt\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<p>Peel and chop the onion. Peel the carrots and cut into thick slices. Peel the turnips and cut into cubes. Wash zucchini and cut into thick slices about 1 cm thick. Clean thistles; remove the prickly side and cut them. Cut the lamb into 3 cm cubes and set aside.<br \/>\nCook the onion in a large saucepan with olive oil over low heat for 5 minutes. Add the meat cubes, season with salt, pepper and spices. Raise the heat to brown the meat and cook for 4 minutes. Add the tomato sauce and thistles, mix well and cover with water. Cover the saucepan and simmer for 40 minutes.<br \/>\nAfter this time, add the remaining vegetables and continue cooking for 15 minutes. Adding a little more water if necessary.<br \/>\nCook the macaroni in a pot with salted water for 10 minutes or the time indicated on the package.
