Soparnik – Chard Pie

 500 g chard, a large bunch
 1 onion
 2 large garlic cloves
 olive oil
 salt
 300 g flour
 175 ml water
 1 tsp salt
 2 tbsp olive oil

To make the dough, we mix all the ingredients until we get a nice homogeneous dough. Divide the dough in half. We choose a mold or oven tray. Knead one of the halves, and with the roller we flatten until we get a nice thin dough and cover the mold or oven tray.

Put the uncooked, chopped chard, onion and minced garlic in a bowl, along with a drizzle of olive oil and salt. Mix all the raw vegetables well.

Put the vegetables on top of the dough that is in the mold or tray. Now we knead and flatter the other half of the dough and use it to cover the vegetables. Make sure that the edges are well pressed together and closed.

Put the pie in the preheated oven at 200ºC for 20 minutes. Enjoy!
