Raspi la pastanaga i talli-la en rodanxes gruixudes. Peli el nap i talli-ho en daus. Renti el carbass\u00f3 i talli-ho en rodanxes gruixudes d\u2019aproximadament 1 cm de grossor. Netegi els cards; retiri els fils laterals i trossegi\u2019ls. Talli el xai en daus d\u2019uns 3 cms de costat. Cogui la ceba en una casserola ampla a foc lent amb oli d\u2019oliva durant 5 minuts. Afegeixi els daus de carn, i assaoni. Pugi el foc perqu\u00e8 es dauri la carn i deixi coure durant 4 minuts.<br \/>\nAfegeixi els cards i el tom\u00e0quet fregit, barregi b\u00e9 i cobreixi amb l\u2019aigua. Tapi la cassola i deixi coure el guisat a foc lent durant 40 minuts.<br \/>\nTranscorregut aquest temps, incorpori la resta de la verdura i prossegueixi la cocci\u00f3 durant 15 minuts mes, afegint una mica m\u00e9s d\u2019aigua si fos necessari.<br \/>\nCogui els macarrons en una casserola amb abundant aigua amb sal durant 10 minuts o el temps que indiqui el fabricant.
